Do you get annoyed too when someone answers a question stupidly.?

Yes, I do. If the question is silly, then I don't mind, but if the question is serious and people answer with stupid responses or bad advice, I don't like it. I answered a question about tattoos after somebody decided that "God doesn't like tattoos, you're going to hell" was a good answer. It irks me more when the answers get put to a vote and the stupid and often incorrect ones are voted best answer.

Totally defeats the purpose of the site if you ask me.

Whenever I raised a Question, I made sure that it called for short answers - giving everybody a chance to answer !

...All my Questions were quite serious, but did not provide scope for any wisecracks - and so, hardly 5% of the Answers were of the loony type ! [Very acceptable percentage !]

...It is only when a points-starved person comes across a Question, which he/she finds totally beyond his/her capabilities, that they feel angry and antagonistic towards the Questioner - which they express via dumb, rash, rude and risque answers, for which they can still collect points !

...So, best to keep most questions simple, and easily answerable : That way the truly serious questions will be ignored, and competent persons alone will answer them !

Sometimes it does irritate me but then I read the rest of the answers and it all works out.

Honestly I think it bothers me more to see some kid really asking what seems to be an honest important question and then other people tell them they are crazy or something.

Its not so bad, considering how 98% of the questions asked are retarded like "How old am I?" It gets kind of old and people just answer stupidly to let their frustrations out.

you have to expect that kind of thing with a setup like this. gotta take the good with the bad. some are funny but maybe thats just to me. /shrug facts of life.

Yes. That totally erks me. It is even worse when answers like that get votes.

Yes, I just take things from who they come.As in if they are not meaningful persons to me-well that's what there answer is to me also.

I really do hate that. But what I hate more is when people ask stupid questions.

Yup, it is annoying, but if they are honestly trying to help with the limited resources that they have, that should be noted. Just be greatful and say "Thanks, but no thanks!"
