What Happened to Vodoo AGP cards, and glide chipsets?

Remember at the end of 98 All Vodoo dissapeared.The Last one was i Think Vodoo 5 5500 AGP. Glide chipsets are good stuff. What happened to the Company?

    3dfx closed down a good while ago upsetting many of us a tad. You may find more info on http://www.x-3dfx.com/

    I actually have a good working voodoo 5 5500. Its a huge card, I miss 3dfx, but they went under right after the 5500 was released

    bad marketing decisions ruined 3dFX. after that, NVidia bought patents/technology which were incorporated in their products. i still got a 3dFX Voodoo 2 (PCI) on an old Pentium 2. it was my first 3D card.. (my first love :) ; very good product, 12MB memory - impressive when it first appeared)
