What is minute rice made of? Or what's the diffference b/t regular and minute?

    Minute Rice has been pre-cooked most of the way and dried so that it will take less time to cook than regular rice. You can use in place of regular rice in almost any dish.

    Minute rice has been par-boiled then dried which reduces the cooking time but it also strips the rice of a lot of the natural neutrients.

    But it tastes horrible, and if you look at the individual grains, they look messed up, as if the outer coating had been sanded off each one.
