He will always have that guilt and you will always have that fear. It's good he got therapy. So now he can have a fresh start with another woman. And you can have a new beginning with another man, free of any left over scars or fear. It's a nice, optomistic thought. But unrealistic.

No .I have to ask you are you feeling its your fault what he or she has done to you. This person abused you, your life was hell,Why would you want to take the chance again. If you go back them feelings will never go away. You both will never foget. It takes years of help and most times they stop abusing one way and do somthing diffrent.

nvr... my (almost) aunt is going through the same thing... they almost got married but she learned that he cared more about his money than her. he beat her if he misplaced 20 dollars... so yeah even if he/she has gone through therapy doesnt make it right.... i mean they could have not changed at all though they went there... you nvr know.... BE CAREFUL message me if something bad happens or REPORT it... its abuse and you shouldnt get that type of treatment from ANYONE

No... if you take them back that means they got away with hitting you and they WILL do it again..

nope, if you're so f.u.c.k.e.d up to abuse someone in the first place then you're not worthy, there's no going back.
