a pear once was so old that it had almost turned into jam. It had mold and if you have ever smelled something like this then you know what i am talk about. I almost Barfed.

Alex the Aspergillus has been happily growing on something that was left in our fridge about 7 months ago. He's so fuzzy and gray and cute that I don't have the heart to throw him out!

There is a jar of not very tasty pickled cauliflower that has been there since last summer. Too much rice vinegar and too much garlic. Anyone want it?

I have a tube a gralic paste that has been in there for about a year and I have never opened it - I just use real garlic
