Prime Minister Harold Holt went for a swim at Cheviot Beach, near Portsea on 17th December 1967, and was never seen again. The event has been referred to as 'the swim that needed no towel'.

Prime Minister Harold Holt disappeared whilst scuba diving in Victoria.
There were many stories rampant at that time, that a shark had got him
that he had been kidnapped.
His body was never discovered.

Hey i know that one... it was Harold Holt and he was not taken by a shark he was taken by a Dingo in a Wet Suit.

Harold Holt supposedly drowned. there was no fish suspect shark or otherwise
