The interior of the new Tahoe is fantastic. I rode in one the other day. Clearly if you are in the market for a tahoe you would be very satisfied with the 18 MPG Highway which is comparable or better than the Toyota Sequoia, Ford Expedition or Nissan Armada. With all the features available at a price about 6-10 thousand less than the others, the Tahoe gets two thumbs up from me.

UNless you have 5 kids, or need to tow a big boat, they are a huge waste of money. Terrible gas mileage, and mediocre quality. The 2007's are much improved, but still are gas pigs. Need a big SUV? Get a Pathfinder or a Sequoia.

Large over-sized station wagons that give people the ability to drive reckless without a care and talk on the cell phone and make others dispise the one driving the good for nothing things. If it isn't 4wd, then scrap it.

My Jeep is not a SUV, your suv is not a Jeep!

    It's a Jeep thing...You wouldn't understand.

Source(s): JEEP...The toughest four letter word in history since 1941,proven and trail tested with more four wheel drive know how than any other manufacturer.

They look really good, nice fit and finish, even when compared to the imports. MPG is not going to be great, but it is no worse than a Seqouia, Pathfinder Armada, or any other full size SUV.

we have a 2001 Tahoe. It's been perfect in respect to reliability!Since we live in the wilds of Montana ,we need 4x4 and the cargo capacity.17mpg overall is not bad for what it does for us.if you don't need the capacity, then something smaller might suit.

When gas is $3/gallon, I sure wouldn't buy one. They're ugly too.
