How can I tell if my couch has been treated with scotchguard?

I paid to have scotchguard applied to a new couch, how can I tell if this was done by the maker?

    You could spill a tiny bit of water on it and see if it beads up and wipes right off. If it soaks in immediately, then there was no Scotchguard.

    Read the label on the underside of the cushion or under the couch.

    Spill something on it, but not in an easy to see spot, just in case
