1. Ode to the Banana King, Part One

What I love most about this song is its simplicity. it's the only Tori song I've been able to play on the piano. It's also one of the few songs that is not full of sharp and flat notes.

2. i i e e e

This song is so dark and eerie that it drew me in immediately.

3. Flying Dutchman

What sounds like a difficult song to play actually is not at all. Again, one of her songs that sounds very remote, like she is in her own little world. The contrast between the loud and soft parts of the song is very striking.

4. spark

It's such a personal song, that you can't help but feel that you know Tori after hearing it. The layered lyrics also had an light, airy feeling to an otherwise sad and dark song.

5. Datura

Probably her least accessible song, but the musician in her really shines through into this eclectic mix of sounds and beats. It's almost proof that Tori could put out an album of her reading recipes and people would still buy it and think it was the greatest thing on Earth.

Ruby Through the Looking Glass live...I had a baby recently and in the beginning of my pregnancy my husband and I were having lots of problems and we fought all the time and this song made me feel better and made me cry

Spring Haze... her voice is amazing in this song. Gives me hope, makes me feel that everything is going to be all right...everything is just energy and cycles.
