I’d rather see the sunrise in your eyes?

if that's a poem great, if not you're a frickin cheesehead

As each raindrop dies against my window pane

the cacophony of your tears will release their pain

I will die inside from each tear streaked stain

You anonymously deposited in vain.

Would it be more fruitful to walk down my lane

and press love sighs against my window pane?

Instead of rising high like an aeroplane

and clouding my sunrise with your rain.

Each sweet dew your eyes restrain

and every time your smile doth wane

keeps out the unrequited pain

that holds in check your shy shy brain.

Come and sing your deva's love refrains

outside my lonely window pane

until no cause for tears remain

and you see your sunrise in my eyes sustained.
