Why do dogs do this ..............................................................................?

My dog loves it when I blow in his face, he knows I'm playing with him...do you blow in your dogs face when hes eating or sleeping cause I'd get mad too.lol.thats a good question cant wait to see some of the answers.

My thought would be that when he is in the car, he has a choice of whether or not to hang his head out of the window. However, when you blow in his face, he might not be expecting it or is not in the mood for it at the time.

Dogs have a very intense sense of smell... when they are riding on a car, they are actually smelling new odors that they normally don't have at home... that's their way of knowing the world... (also hearing some new noises and learning from them because of their also high sense of hearing)... so they just love it...

But when you blow at them, they just don't see anything coming but just feel the blow and that disturbs them... I must add that this in not annoying for all of them but I agree that it is common for dogs feel uncomfortable when you blow at them...

becuz sometimes dogs get car sick and when they hang their head out it makes their stomach feel better plus they love the fresh air. it wokrs for humans too if u ever have a stomach ache over a car ride stick your head out and your stomach will start to feel better, i dont know why but it does work and its fun at the same time! and dogs dont like it when u blow in their face becuz they take it as you challenging them or you taunting them.

My dog does it because he likes to see what is happening outside. He also is trying to smell the senses in the air and hear sounds that the outside world is making. He is very nosy. My dog doesn't get mad when I blow in his face. In fact he licks me.

Well the wind Sothes the dog it makes it feel good.

But when you blow on it he or she might think your trying to hurt him or her trust me i have a dog

to hold or fasten with a machine: "Watertight doorways and hatches have been dropped into place and dogged all the way down to grant the deliver finished watertight integrity" (Tom Clancy).

Cause dogs ears are very sensitive I guess and idk how the wind doesn't make it worse than blowing would.

Cause you have bad breath.

they like the fresh air.. not your breath!!
