How do you keep a guitar strap from falling off?
I have this one guitar that keeps having this problem - and since I am a church musician sometimes leading a group, often without other musicians to keep it going, it is becoming a real problem for me.
I've heard of people using washers and bolts to keep the strap fixed on. Anyone have any ideas like that, or other tricks?

On my Les Pauls, which are heavy as well as my Stratocasters, I use Lockstraps. Go to your local music store and inquire within. They can help you with your dilemma.

You can buy specialist little black washer things to keep your straps on the guitars. They don't have a name, but come in two pieces which lock over each other, and the strap. The cost from about £2 ($4) and get more expensive from there. I have the cheapest ones I could find, they work fine!!

Use some duct tape. If that dosent work, try replacing the strap with string or something. If its really bothering you, just get a new strap.

buy a strap with a wheel at each end that tightens the grip on the guitar.

really easy and being a church musician you should have thought of this. simply do as jesus did, knock two large nails through your shoulder strap and deep into your clavicle, that should do the trick

Superglue, duct tape. I wouldn't put screws in your guitar, it might mess up the sound.
