Even magic 'eat through anything' acid can be diluted with water, plus there are ceramics that can contain just about anything corrosive, whether it's acidic or alkaline.

  • a very inert, stable solid, like plastic. or u could use glass, but this has to be replaced every so often because the acid will eat right through it. one of the most powerful acids, fluoric acid, will eat through glass slowly.

I'd keep it floating in a globule in a microgravity enviroment.

If it was magnetic, then I'd keep it in a magnetic suspension chamber.

usually it is stored in its non corrosive state, ie solid or gas.
