Why do you think there has never been a female or person of color president in the US?

It's most likely because 'old money' has been who has kept people in the White House. The last election was a perfect example of it: two white men from old money and who belonged to the same secret society, that's not a picture of diversity, is it?

Actually, not sure about a president of other than caucasian descent but I do know what's up with the female president. In the constitution, where it lists out the requirements to run for president, it actually specifies a MALE of a certain age and so on and so forth. Until that's changed we probably won't have a female president.

Uhhhh....'cause this is America. God forbid we should do something as outrageous as have a female or person of color for president! Look how long it took and WHAT it took to get our first black Chief Justice.....

Unfortunately, by and large, people are still afraid of strong women. Also, some whites are afraid that a minority president will display a bias towards members of their own group rather than look out for the interests of everyone.

The reason is simple the world began as white rule if the blacks had the the upper hand it would be different, but they did not , they have been the victim of the white man and that is the thing, that gets me, but, if they would have had the upper hand do you think that they would treat us any better than we treated them,thats things that make you go hummmm.......

every 4 years gets us closer to the day that will happen.I think if Oprah ran she could win.That's not a joke either.Popularity goes a long way these days.She has the money to campaign and all of Hollywood would back her.
