Why do people cheat 1st, then break up last??!!!! Isn't this backwards?!?

So they have something to move on to because they are afraid to be alone.

Girl don't you know that if my guy wanted to cheat I would have broke it off? I wanted to break up with my guy who was doing a stint for 3 months in jail, I met this other guy while he was in there and I wanted to 'cheat' badly, but I opted to be honest in my relationships so I waited 6 long weeks to break it off with the other guy and he was crushed. Even though he was not a good guy like criminally, I needed to be honest with myself too. I could not break up with him over the phone on his 20 times a day collect calls from jail. Some people can live with themselves and go cheating around "hoping" and thinking they will not get caught.

Yes, but if they broke up first, it would no longer be cheating.

(BTW, I think that's the way it should be... break up if you must, but don't cheat! People who cheat are just trying to have their cake and eat it too.)

What fun would that be, that takes away from "cheating"
