When you were a kid. What was your favorite bedtime story (or anytime) book.?

I used to love that story when i was a kid. But I didn't really have a favorite. My dad used to tell me "Natalie" stories that he made up. But I never got read to from books.

I agree with the other answer. I always loved to read Goodnight Moon as a bedtime story. It always was interesting to me no matter how many times I read it.

Stand Back Said the Elephant I'm Going to Sneeze and The Three Billy Goats Gruff.Also I liked Giant Stories.

One of my favorite books as a little kid was Black Beauty, and I liked a lot of the Black Stallion books too.

Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls. I still reread it every year and start crying like a baby when the dogs die.

Mine is still and probaly always will be Tru Confessions. It is about a girl who has a brother who is special needs. She is having a tough time fitting in because of him. It tells abuot her life and her brothers hardships and overcoming big things.

Anything by the berenstain bears, i still love them and have bought lots of their books for my kids.

the velveteen rabbit.....one time when my grandma was reading it to us after we put the book down there was a rabbit watching us from outside it was so funny.

The poky little puppy. My kids hate it.
