what temperature is it warm enough for shorts for a 1 year old?

We live in northeast Ohio.

    The general rule is that your baby should wear 1 more layer than your comfortable wearing. Reversed if it's really hot (like 80s-90s+)

    I'd probably say mid to upper 70s.

    For a one year old, generally a good rule of thumb is that if its warm enough for you its warm enough for them.

    If your baby is not active then he may get cold - so ensure he's not sitting in a stroller while wearing them -

    We live in southern Illinois and my 1 year old has been wearing shorts for two weeks now but alas it is warmer her. I'd say highs of upper seventies is good.

    If you think that it's warm enough for shorts for you, then it's probablly warm enough for shorts for him. Like 70, 75 maybe.

    If you feel comfortable in shorts then your baby should that's usually the rule. If it's a little chilly for you though and you just don't mind then definitely put some pants on him. : )

    dress your baby as you would dress your self.you may actually want to dress him/her a little lighter than yourself on a very warm day since sweat glands are still developing through the first two years
