I think it is a misunderstood implement. We already have a fork and a spoon...why in the world would we want a spork? It doesn't help at all. All of the sporks I used still only get the noodles out of the bowl and no broth...:(

Misunderstood implement. Designed for KFC in the mid 60's it was never intended for steak or resistant foods. Used properly they're ideal.

Misunderstood, definately. They used to have them all the time at Taco Bell & KFC, now they seem pretty hard to get, but they're perfect for fast food like that...

i personally hate the spork. the prongs aren't long enough to get anything significant and if you use it as a spoon the prongs poke you in the mouth. the should have never invented it.

its a great implement for picnics - less cutlery to take with you and lose!

They're awful! Try using one to eat spaghetti or steak! This is what they use at my kids school regardless of what they're serving. (And no knives.)

    CHEAP people!

    Good question.
