whatever happened to "dating"? now it seems as though if you have an interest in someone it must be monogamus.

I know what you mean. By today's standards, I guess I would have been labeled a whore, whether deserved or not.

When I was young, dating was just that. You would go out with a bunch of different guys. If you and a guy got along really well and wanted to spend more time with only each other, then you would go "steady". For however long...be it a month or a year.

After that, back to dating a bunch of guys, again. LOL

A whole lot more fun back then, I think.

What? Today, there are SO many people willing to engage into casual sex or relationships...though, I would never expect to date someone assuming it would end up being monogamous; initially, you date someone for a potential monogamous relationship, or with the intent of sleeping with them, however, I can most certainly see the side of dating for quite some time first, and just having fun to get to know the person better.

you need to know what you want and what you are looking for when you make the "date" with someone lol once you get that together then you will see diffrent results in your "dating" experance. i know i am going through the dating thing right now as well .....*smiles* and i am having some fun i want more but hey when i stumble across the one who fits me and my life and who i am and about then it will happen

I know what you're saying. I realized that a couple of years ago, that it seems like nobody just "goes out" anymore, they are either a couple or not. I think that pre-marital sex has something to do with it. Or I could be totally wrong.

glad to hear it, I don't like cougars anyway :)

old fashion dating didn't include "sex" at the drop of a hat

and "territory" has always been human nature (goes both ways, not to be confused with the sick idea of ownership :)

but you're dealing with a complex human element of emotion and in/security

There are good and bad to alll aspects I quess

I think that love is over rated. Sex is too.
