Realtime moderators?

We have people moderating Yahoo! Answers 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We are constantly looking for abusive posts, and following up on abuse reports. If you find an abusive post you can report it to us by using the Report Abuse link found next to every users name. This will send us a notice about it, and if warranted will take appropriate actions.

I agree with you. I think that the Yahoo! Answers Team isn't doing a very good job at policing this site. They've removed all the chatting and polling questions but left the ones with adult content. The Other category was removed because of the amount of adult content questions in there. Maybe they should have got to work and actually started removing some questions. I belong to Answersholics Anonymous (a Yahoo! Group) and the moderators there do a much better job than the Team on here. And these users are known as much as the Yahoo! Answers Team. They would do a terrific job.

This idea has been discussed in some length. I do not believe that we have ever gotten a response about it though.

This has been being discussed in other places also, for months now.

that is an interesting proposition, but I think with the volume it would be a big task...they already have incorporated the report button, and I have used that frequently
