What matters is what you tihnk of it. Poetry is about how it speaks to you as an individual. If it doesn't, then you don't really care for the guy. So here are some questions to ask yourself: Does it make you think of anything? Do you see the imagery he's portraying? Do you understand what he is saying? Is there a message that is deeper than just the words?
