I not sure about the earth explodeing but when the sun dies, all life on earth will die.
The Sun is about 4.5 billion years old. it has used up about half of its nuclear fuel (hydrogen). In about 5 billion years from now, the sun will begin to die.
As the Sun grows old, it will expand. As the core runs out of hydrogen and then helium, the core will contact and the outer layers will expand, cool, and become less bright. It will become a red giant star.
After this phase, the outer layers of the Sun will continue to expand. As this happens, the core will contract; the helium atoms in the core will fuse together, forming carbon atoms and releasing energy. The core will then be stable since the carbon atoms are not further compressible.
Then the outer layers of the Sun drift off into space, forming a planetary nebula (a planetary nebula has nothing to do with planets), exposing the core.
Most of its mass will go to the nebula. The remaining Sun will cool and shrink; it will eventually be only a few thousand miles in diameter!
I hope this helps.

There is no reason for the Earth to explode. Far more likely is the sun expanding to a red giant, at which point the earth will be vaporized by the intense heat.
This isn't likely in anyone's lifetime, so stop worrying.

I don't think the Earth will explode, but it will someday become uninhabitable for humans because of global warming or over population or something like that.

I believe it will end, at least the way we know it to be. I believe that during the millennium, and Christ's time on earth, the earth will be purified/ celestialized and made perfect. Now, when that will happen, I don't know. If you disagree with me, that is totally understandable. This is just my belief.

no the sun will form a planitary nebula ne form new planets ( not explode) but by that time ther wont be enough likght to sustain like on earth
but then again we weill blow it up if we start a neuclear war...

yeh, in about five billion years and three days when all life is dead and the planet is scorched from radiation and the sun explodes thus causing the earth to explode-we aint that far away from it

this earth will expire in a giant explosion if it is lucky.
i see a far worse fate for the world and that is a slow death of disease, poverty lawlessness, famine, terror, weather extremes that cause the death of millions in a slow agonising finish that will give the remaining humans time to regret the selfishness and stupidity of those that went before them.

no,not at all. what will happen is that all the bad people who are ruining the earth will be destroyed but not the earth itself. it's something like this: for example, your house is full of rats and cockroaches.would you burn or destroy your house? the best thing to do is to destroy the pests in the house and not the house itself.
