Fantasy Baseball Pitcher-Buchholz?
I need a replacement for John Patterson while he is on the DL. I am thinking of picking up Taylor Buchholz (HOU) while Patterson is DLed. Is Buchholz for real seeing he has only 4 career apperences?
Is he now in the Astros starting rotation to stay?
Brian Bannister just went on the DL also.

Buchholz isn't a bad replacement at all. He's better than the guys suggested in the previous answers. He should be in the Astros rotation for the forseeable future. He was also a highly regardeed prospect in the Phillies system coming to Houston in the Billy Wagner trade. Check if Justin Verlander or Daniel Cabrera is available in your league but if not I'd recommend Buchholz. Don't pick up Bannister as he's on the DL too.

Maybe Gustavo Chacin, i mean he has 4 wins. I'm replacing Bartolo Colon while he's on the DL with Justin
Verlander. My top picks were S. Marshall(Cubs), D. Miceli(Devil Rays)cause i needed some saves, and T. Bucholtz. So, yeah, i'd go for him.

if kenny rogers is avail--grab him
chacin is a good replacement..and the astros pitching staff is on fire..look into that..
PS...the reds are in 1st place...u can get some easy saves if weathers is avail...

I would for a Tim Wakefield or someone that isnt a big name, but will win games.
