If some1 noes joor ip, den u iz f00ked.
Take the time to type out your message in English or I will answer in a way you will not understand and that will scare the **** out of you (more than the other people already have).
Basically, with your IP address, people can't do as much as some responded, but they can do more than what some others responded. Your IP address is your network's or computer's unique identifier on the Internet. If you have a router or a decent firewall, what someone can do with your IP address is severely limited. If you don't have a decent firewall or a router, the value of the personal information someone can get is low because you probably are already part of several botnets and paying for some Malaysian dude's lifetime subscription to several porn sites.
In other words, if your system isn't secure then whether some jackass knows your IP address should be the least of your concerns. If your system is secure, then just sit back and watch your security software doing its job (and making sure nothing gets past it). If you want to know how you can make your system secure, read "Secure your system" at http://protractive.gdshadow.net/Protractive?action...

Well, if they're a decent hacker and you're not well protected they may be able to do just about anything, steal your passwords, creditcard information (if it's on your computer somewhere), use your pc in a DOS attack, even take over your computer and use it as if they were sitting at it, do anything you could do with it.
If they're not an expert though, or you're decently protected (have all your updates and a firewall)... nothing really. They could find out what 100 mile or so radius you live in, what your isp is.... that's about it. An ip address is exactly that, an address. It tells someone where your computer is on the internet, so they can communicate with it.

They can send data to your individual pc over the internet or a network.
If you're hosting an online game, by having that ip, they can directly connect to you and play with you.
Its also useful for some communications software and various other tasks. generally its harmless.
If a person wanted to do something harmful, like a DoS attack, hacking, or sending a virus, your IP address is what they need to send it to you.
However, its very rare that you would be targeted in such a way, and unlikely that they'll even manage to do anything. Firstly they have to manage to write code that will do such things, and actually manage to get your computer to accept it. Secondly, if you have an antivirus and/or firewall, even if they manage to transfer anything to your pc, your antivirus etc will immediately remove it.
In essence, the security risk is unlikely at best

Not a great deal. Your IP address is a unique number that identifies your computer from amongst the millions of others. Every e-mail you send includes your IP address, every webpage you visit records your IP address so it's not something that's a secret or hard to obtain.
An IP address can be used to identify your ISP and approximately where in the world you are but it can't pinpoint you, only your ISP can do that and they won't release that information unless they are forced to do so by a court order or something like that.
You can't change your IP address at will. Numbers are assigned to ISP's in blocks and you have to use one of the avialable numbers, only your ISP can change your IP address.

If they know what they are doing what ever they like....
You IP address is the port that you computer is open on and send and recives infomation on, if you google it you can find out how to change the port number.
Would tell you myself but I cant rember.
