Can anyone tell me how to create my own business cards through MS Word?

I did it a long time ago, but I can't remember how anymore! Thanks!

You have a couple of options, do you want to create a card and have it printed, or do you want to create a card and print it yourself on you inkjet or laser printer?

If you are trying to do it yourself I would go to office depot and pick up some business cards like these: http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?level=SK&id=42...

The package will have instructions on setting up a word document for printing the cards 10 at a time.

If you want to outsource your printing, I suggest you use Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, etc. Make sure you design your card in 300dpi resolution if you are sending it to a large commercial printer or your cards will be pixilated.

If you have further questions email me gene at itworksomaha dot com.

  • You can do it in MS Word, but it's not the best tool for it.

Just set the document size to 2.5 x 3 (I think that's the size) and start putting text in. Save it as a .pdf and you're ready to go. Make sure you keep text and images away from the edge by at least an 1/8 of an inch. I designed mine (in 4 color) and had them printed CHEAP at the website below.

Let me know if I can help anymore...

    Good Luck!

MS word is fine for creating a simple business card. cards. You can either copy the measurements and format from a business card that you like, or check on Microsoft.com for templates - they're free, and there's a pretty decent selection. Also, I believe Avery.com has templates too, which are helpful if you are using Avery paper to print, it will match perfectly.

be conscious is tremendous in case you fairly administration it, decide on the mandatory length (Width and accurate) of the cardboard, as agency card its about (9 cm x 5 cm) you should use Drawing device bar to create textual content field of that length, and also you should regulate the size later by making use of accurate click then format textual content field, that is functional if the BC is textual content purely or you should use Rectangle device and draw rectangle with the perfect length and positioned interior it textual content packing boxes and different rectangles for pictures or trademarks as celebration. Regards, :)
