How to attach blinds to metal?

Update:

I have bought regular plastic blinds and trying to attach them to metal frame that covers sidings of the window frame. I tried drilling through the frame, but it didn't work. Is there a glue or something that can help me?

Feel free to contact me about this one. Thats my specialty for the last 15 years. I recommend not using any adhesives because they will not last with a vinyl material that can "heat up". You must get "self-tapping" screws. A pilot hole is not necessary with these. I recommend using 1/4" hex head self-tapping screws that are 1/2" x #8 and a Hex head bit for your drill that is magnetized so the screw doesn't fall out while drilling. Important to make sure that you do not use the lower holes of the bracket if they are close to the glass of the window.

The easiest way is to drill a small pilot hole and use self-tapping screws.

go to the hardware store in the morning and ask for an adhesive by the mane of NP-1. Bonds almost anything to almost anything.
