How do I, if it's possible, convert all of the music in my iTUNES to MP3 format?

I don't know how to do this. A friend is asking me to do it for him so he can have music to listen to in Iraq. If anyone knows, can you please tell me the easiest way to go about it? I already stored all of the songs to CD in regular format, and it took about 50 CD's...Yeah, it was pretty expensive.

Update:

There was no "convert to MP3" selection in my advanced bar. It only said "convert to AAC" and "convert ID3 Tags"......
