here is a question for a plummer to answer ?
If a person has a clear vent pipe with no obstruction and nothing backing up in the tub, sinks, toilet, and laundry drain .What would cause the kitchen sink to make a gurgaling sound whenever anyone flushes the comode ?.The sewer line from house to the street has also been checked out too. Got any ideas to my strangely (embarrassing when company is over ) problems .It only hapens when the comode is flushed ????

the simple answer is they are most likely both connected on the same vent pipe. Not knowing how they are connected one would guess the pressure from the flush is causing the gurgling. Has this always been the case since built or did it just start? vent and drain pipe connected at some point?

its due to the vent being in the wrong place....if the "gurgle" happens the instant you flush, its pushing air/gasses up thru the trap, but if it burps a second after the flush then the trap is getting air sucked thru it. thats easy to fix...there is a product called a power vent that is basically a check valve that lets the drain draw air in and doesnt let the sewer gasses back out. just T into the drain and install it
