    What are you talking about?

The only "bombing" of California around WWII was the POSSIBILITY that there would be a test OF AN ATOM BOMB there, but that didn't happen.

Atomic Bomb testing has occured in other locations, but no bombing of ANY kind (experiment/accident/act of war) occured in California in WWII or WWI, nor the wars of Korea, Vietnam, Persian Gulf, or Iraq.

Where did you come up with this?

    EDIT ************************

    Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh................

    The Hot Air balloons...

If that was what you were talking about, go here for more info: http://www.japan-101.com/history/fire_balloons_or_...

Japan attempted to bomb the west coast by attatching ordinance to hydrogen balloons and launching them into the jetstream, very few made it and none caused death or damage. Good question.
