a4 + b4 = (a2-abV2+b2)(a2+abV2+b2). Right?

I asked the question before.

I could not give the surprising and best answer.

So I made it up to you.

Update:

The V2 is the square root of 2

Ur question is perfectly right as if u solve the RHS u will get the answer as a4+b4.

Solving both the expressions by multiplying with each other we get ur answer.

    a^4 + b^4 = (a^2 + ib^2)(a^2 - ib^2)

Since the "i" stand for imaginary number, this problem can't be factored, unless you are allowed to factor imaginary values.
