I believe that some events can produce unseen "messages" that we can pick up. However, it could just be coincidence. We often fear things that never happen. So sometimes it's bound to happen that we fear things that do happen. In other words, if we have a certain fear 100 times, maybe we actually will be correct one time out of that 100. And then we focus only on that one time and use it as proof of a premonition.

But again, we really don't know about all the various undiscovered dimensions out there. So premonitions could very well be real.

I believe God speaks to all his children.. sometimes this is interpreted as a "premonition", "just a hunch", "bad vibes", etc.

I've often had feelings about someone, when I first meet them. I'll meet someone, and I'll be super nervous/scared, or a word will come to mind... Then I'll find out that my feelings or that descriptive word was accurate! I've come to trust that feeling. Especially when it's a bad feeling- it's never been wrong.

Source(s): That one guy I didn't like and later found that he was an abusive cheating husband (er, ex-husband)... and that other guy that I felt wasn't supposed to take the job out-of-town and then I ended up marrying him... and the guy I thought "vindictive" and found out he's got a pretty wild temper... and then there are the tons of people I've almost instantly liked, and never heard a bad word about them...

You can never tell. There had been people who missed flights that went down. Some just felt sick and could not fly. Some had an urgent last minute change of plan. Some just fail to make the connecting flight and saved themselves. So such thing can happen and do occur. Just try not to brush off those instinctive feelings. You can never know if you had just change your fate.

You're confusing coincidence with something that doesn't exist. It's kind of like the dog waiting in the window for his Master to come home. When he comes home, everyone says "wow, that dog knew he was coming home!", but in reality, the little bastard sat there two thirds of the day, every day, looking out the window. Nobody notices until the owner shows up! Dumb luck is dumb luck.

    No!

If they exist (and i believe they do) then they can be avoided --

just change the circumstances leading up to the premonition

BTW Have you ever seen a tv prog called 'Tru Calling'? of course, this is fiction... but it kinda explains what i mean

Well, it didn't happen, or at least you weren't in the accident. So premonitions aren't cast in stone.
