you'll see that my preloader works great.

I'm using the MovieClipLoader to load external SWFs into a movie clip. Simple code. When I click a button this is the code.

 My problem is the movies I load into my holder "holdbox" are not centered. They're top-left is aligned to the centre of the main movie. How can I fix this? I think it's a setting in Flash but I'm not sure. Can someone please advise me. I'm on a tight deadline. If it helps I got the original code from: www.gotoandlearn.com

In the external swf files you create and load later to the main movie, you have to set them to appear in centre.

Flash aligns to top left by default.

Once the swf has fully loaded you need to gets its width and height

With those values you can then adjust the x,y values of the swf to get it centered.

There is no setting to do this. It must be done with actionscript.
