Is it okay for a female to have a heavy period one month, then extremely light the next?

Does this mean I am going to have a hard time getting pregnant?

You really need to talk to your Doc about it. Someone women experience irregular periods their entire life, nothing wrong with them just the way they work. Othertimes it can be that there is something of concern.

The only way to know for sure why it happens, if it is ok for you, and if it will affect pregnancy is to speak with your Doc.

This is not unusual. Sometimes, however, an extra heavy period could mean that you didn't ovulate that month. If you are in your 30's and wish to have children, I would advise getting started very soon.

If this is how you are normally then I wouldnt worry about it. But if this is new and you havent ever had a this happen before then I would check with your doc. Your age, and if you are any meds can make a difference in how your period can be month to month.
