One covers the subject of the other, Christianity is the Following of Christ teachings, Cathlic Church is the legacy of Christ in which we follow his teachings, if you are Catholic you are a Christian, not the other way around

By Christianity, did you mean Orthodoxy? If so, my choice is Orthodoxy. Orthodoxy and Catholicism rise from Christianity. They are both Christian confessions. In fact, before the Great Schism in 1054 there was only one religion. I mean before 1054, Orthodoxy and Catholicism were merged, were conjoined, were united. Before 1054 there weren't these terms of Orthodoxy and Catholicism. They appeared after 1054. After that (after 1054) that single religion - Christianity, separated in the 2 confessions. There are a few differences between the two religions.

Catholicism is the original Christianity. All other Christian religions broke off from the Catholic religion due to small conflicts in teachings.

Catholicism is one flavor of Christianity.
If you mean Protestantism or Catholicism...well that's a matter of personal choice, I suppose. Why not Eastern Orthodox as well?
