what is it and how do you figure it out A=1/2a*p?

    It's the formula for the area of a regular polygon

    Area = 1/2 times apothem times perimeter

    (apothem = perpendicular distance from center to midpoint of a side)

    A=1/2ap is the area of any regular polygon in which A is area, a is apothem, and p is perimeter.

    I think its a formula for finding area of polygon.

    I am not sure though.

    maybe A stands for area...and your tryin to find the area of something so you need see what a is and p.
