Am buying a new PC and I need to decide on Graphic cards.. I have been to some retail outlets and the prices given to me are very confusing.. But from my search and my budget the two models I can choose from are ATI Radeon HD4650 1GB DDR2 (XFX make) or ATI Radeon HD4670 1GB DDR3 (Asus make)..

I have checked both the maker's sites.. And Asus's site doesn't specify much except for Core clock and Memory clock.. It says nothing about Texture Fill Rate or Texture Mapping Unit and Pixel rate or ROPs.. So am not too sure.. Also only one retail outlet offered me HD4670 DDR3 1GB that fits exactly in my budget, while others have given prices that are 20-25% more than my budget.. This price difference is also confusing me, along with no specifications on the maker's site..

Am not too good with graphic cards and hence ask you to direct me in the correct direction.. Kindly explain your answers so it will be easier for me to understand and also compare the points with other maker's, as I am going to wholesale markets tomorrow...

Once again, choice is between XFX HD4650 1GB DDR2 and Asus HD4670 1GB DDR3... Kindly explain in details... Thank you in advance..

Details: 3-4 days back, I got a message saying I have very low disk space on my C: (system drive), I was shocked to see that as i knew I had somewhere around 18-20 GB free disk space on that volume. So I checked what happened out of the blue and I found many folders in my Windows\temp folder. They were all named like tmp0000000, tmp00007b75, tmp00005eeb etc. And every folder had files of around a GB or more and some data was being continuously written on it even when i was checking it. So I updated my antivirus software (Bit Defender Total Security 2009), I did a full system scan. It found a few things and I deleted most of them. There were few viruses which were in F: system restore. So I cleared F: system restore. And rebooted my PC. Even after reboot the problem was still there. So I downloaded my another trusted malware remover, Malwarebytes Antimalware software, Updated and again did a full scan. It showed two corrupted registry keys, out of which one it deleted and one still remains. (Disable.security.updates was the name). Now am still facing the same problem of filling of disk space, but now it either gets deleted automatically, or because I remove all other files from temp folder except for the one folder in which the file is eating all my disk space, but after a minute or two even that folder gets back to 0bytes.. The folder remains and also a file with the same name as folder remains as well. So now what I ask is, Is this supposed to be a malware/virus problem or just that system going nuts???

Also if it helps, I have formatted my PC very recently (month back or so), and all the programs I am using currently are the ones that I used to use previously as well. So there are no new additions.

Ok... So I am having this problem in my PC from today morning.. I heard about this problem from my friend few months back and he has used the same disk i did for installing XP.. Its almost a year and half I had no such problem so I thought he might have had some virus from outside.

So today morning i was checking my facebook and suddenly there came an error with the browser. My browser (google chrome) scrolled down and wasn't going up. I tried scrolling my mouse wheel up and tried to drag the scroll bar up as well.. I thought the browser crashed or something so i restarted the browser.. but the same problem was there.

Then again when i opened my microsoft word document (in which i had written my project) and started typing but as soon as I pressed left navigation key i.e. left key, the effect was that of the pointer going left and pressing enter key. so I restarted my PC.

Then again I opened the document. But as soon as i pressed either q or w the effect was of q+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ i.e. there were loads of plus signs. These + signs generally come up when I am typing something or that sort. But when i play games the problem is with the navigation key. This problem was there whole afternoon. then i ran a scan with bitdefender (unupdated) from my friends pc. but as soon as it came to an end pc hung. Still there were three infected files shown though i couldn't see which files. It is common for me to get such infected files as i have few games whose cracks are infected... but as i havent installed those games i dont mind having those cracks in a rar file.

Anyway so right now before i started typing this question the problem of +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ automatically stopped for some time (I checked it in word document by pressing every key)... But now as i was into my third paragraph it started again.

Few points that might help

1) Before today morning PC was working perfectly.

2) I did a system restore of 4 days but to no use.

3) I am not sure if it will go away with format coz my friend said his dint.

4) I am not too much in favor of formatting my C: as there are some softwares which are used by my mom for her work and they are hard to get.

5) There is no chance that I format my full disk as there is a lot of data and i can't transfer it to anywhere else and am also not sure if the virus or the problem will be transferred with the data or not.

6) I haven't clicked any outside link other than facebook today morning or havent been on any site through which i might get infected. I havent downloaded or added anything new to my PC since last saturday.

7) Any help is welcome.. but its sorta urgent for me as my project and mom's work both are on this disk and i cant lose it.

Anyways as of now i have got no experience in magic but i want to learn it... I have come across few sites on the internet but i donno how much to believe in them..

I intend to learn it from beginners level to expert's, step by step...

Can someone suggest me some good books on it??? even good sites will do[no fakes plz]...also what instruments are needed. i have heard bout wands, so where to get one??

Oh yes importantly,

When i say i want to learn magic i mean both white n black or dark magic... but i want to learn it for my own benefit and i intend no harm

i again request only people who know how to do it or have experience shud answer. dont just answer for the points. ur help is highly appreciated

I have the basic sims 2 and then eps like open for business, teen style stuff, university, seasons, nightlife and free time. This is the order in which i installed them. Till nightlife it was working fine. but wen i installed free time i started having some problems

1) I am not able to have sales interaction except for "show item"

2) I got bitten by the countessa but my sim is not able to bite the other sim in household, high relationship is there

3) I am not able to use any command from management or manage my employees. All i can do is set uniform and wear it. so i cant hire ny more employees

4) Many such interactions are missing which makes other expansion packs almost useless

These problems were not there before i installed free time. Is it the problem bcoz of free time? does free time kill interactions of other eps? or is it just the bug tht is there. if yes ny solutions to it? coz i dont want to lose my sims. its been almost 4 generations now with many talent badges n money.

Hey I am using McAfee 2007 right now and two days back it was automatically deactivated..till now it was working fine for me but now its saying some error is there so its not even scanning or doing anything else.. its like i have an antivirus for name sake.. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling it.. but it downloads few updates and it gets deactivated...[updates get downloaded even when i have turned auto updates off.] anyone has ny idea how to overcome this problem? coz i really liked mcafee and avg's firewall is giving some trouble too..[Pc kinda hangs wen i start net..] Do let me know if u know nything bout it....

Guys m pissed off with the way the referees perform in 3d match mode of fifa manager 08.... i have till now missed 9 clear penalties coz of it n got injuries instead of fouls... nyone has ny idea bout it?? i mean is there ny patch or nything to improve it... coz this is the only thing bad bout this game.. n it ruins the fun in the big matches..
