it will take you about 15 hours to drive from Willingboro to Orlando-- or less if whoever is driving drives over the speed limits at all ever.

to bring, make sure you have changes of clothes and towels, because it gets warm walking around, and if you decide to go in water attractions or anything youll want to be able to change. make sure to bring lots of spending cash, as things around there are tourist-aimed but very pricey. for the trip down there, its a long drive so you might want to bring a portable cd player (with extra batteries!) or some books to read, if you dont get sick in the car. perhaps if someone has a portable dvd player, that would entertain the kids in the car as well. theres lots to do in orlando and disney, have fun.

According to www.mapquest.com, (where you can get a map and driving directions!) it will take 15 hours and 49 minutes to drive from Willingboro, NJ to Orlando, FL ... but that's all driving time, and doesn't allow for stops for food and potty breaks (of which you are going to need plenty with kids 4-10 along), so I'd allow at least 3-4 hours for that!

As for what to take to Disney World, I'd make sure everyone had: Very comfortable walking shoes (that will dry quickly if [WHEN] they get wet); lightweight clothes that will dry quickly from perspiration and/or water rides; plenty of sunscreen; sunglasses and/or sunhats (if you don't take them, you KNOW the kids are going to want to buy some!) light jackets or at least long-sleeved shirts that can be worn as jackets in case you get into someplace air-conditioned and get chilled ... and evenings might be cooler, too (- also, if you use long-sleeved white shirts and leave them unbuttoned, they can help prevent sunburn and overheating); some big zip-lock plastic bags to put cameras, billfolds, cellphones, jackets, etc. in when you go on wet rides. Fanny packs (worn towards the front so you can't be pickpocketed) are easier in a situation like that than purses. If you can manage to dress everyone in the same bright color (hot pink, florescent green, electric blue, or bright red, etc.) tops and everybody's slacks or shorts the same color it makes it easier to spot members of you party, should you get separated!!!

Do I need to mention plenty of money?? Food and drink there cost a pirate's ransom!! (Not to mention the souveniers!!) At least one person should have a camera ... an adventure like this deserves to be documented!! If someone sunburns easily or gets overheated easily, you might want to consider taking one of those umbrellas that collapses down to under 9" (with a wrist strap!) so that they can have some shade while standing in long lines.

Check out guides to Disney World and have a plan of attack before you even get to the park. Make copies of pertinant pages and take them along. I've heard that if you get there when they open the gates, head deep into the park and work your way back because most people will start lining up for the first rides they come to. Don't know if that's true, but you might do some more reading about that and see if you think that's a good strategy or not. If you library doesn't have guidebooks, try Barnes and Noble or another bookstore (or amazon.com, half.com or ebay.com).

Sounds like you've got a great group going. Hope you have tons of fun!!

you will have a ball st Disney. It's really fun when you have a big group. If you are staying on site i.e. at a Dinsney hotel, make sure to get the Hotel Souveneer cup...Sure it cost 12 bucks but it pays for itself vs the cost to buy drinks every meal. Also, as oe other said, bring lot of cask....e were there this last spring. Came in one night and was tired of Pizza so we got 4 of the single size serving fruit loops and a pint of milk...i think it was 10 or 11 dollars! If you can swing it go to Cirque du Soliel...Expensive but well worth it.

I would think 15-16 hours for the drive depending on the stops. Dress comfortably (shorts, cotton shirt, tennis shoes, etc). Make sure you have water/snacks with you and save a little on food. Also, make sure you have film and batteies for your camera because it will be very expensive for everything once you go through the gate.

It's best to get your tickets ahead of time so you can eliminate at least one line you'll have to stand in. We get the park hopper pass that allows you to go back and forth between the parks durig the duration of your tickets.
