Just curious if anyone watched who hadn't read Shakespeare and didn't know what was going to happen ... ah, classical literature.

Let's face it, if its historical, we know the people are going to meet an untimely end. Whether or not one reads Shakespeare really should not have an effect on your viewing this series. I had 5 years of Latin, so its safe to say, there were not many surprises for me.
