I watch hgtv alot and view their website www.hgtv.com On the program room by room with Shari hill er,she applied fabric with plain ole mixed cornstarch instead of wallpaper. That is the only thing I know you could do.Go to their website and check it out.

That wouldn't work very well because the paint would seep through the paper, even if it's thick.

Another idea would be to use fabric on your walls.

Go to a fabric store and choose your favorite color(s) and or pattern(s), and use a staple or a tack gun to attach it to your walls.

It's very attractive and stylish...and you can change your whole look any time you wish, without the mess and hassle of paint.

What about using fabric? If you are not painting because a landlord wants the room left white ask him if you repaint when you move if it would be ok to go ahead and paint another color now. Alot of landlords are glad to have any kind of handiwork done by the renter!

Why would you want to go to all that trouble? Do you like whats underneath? Is it a rare wallpaper design that you would like to cover up but don't want to ruin it just in case you sell? If thats the case then do what the other person recommeded to you. Have a print made and put it up.

You can use fabric to cover the walls. Soak the fabric in liquid cornstarch, wring it out and apply it to the wall. When you want to remove it, it pulls of real easily.

You could go to a shop that does vinyl graffics and get them to make you a piece the size of the wall you want to change and they will make something for you with ANY design or picture you want on it!

There's all sorts of materials to cover walls -- from press boards to fabrics.
