The Celtics are the correct answer of course... After drafting Bill Russell, they won the title in 56, 57, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 68, 69, 74, 76, 81, 84 and 86.

Eight in a row says it all.

Gotta love Bill Russell's line when asked "what do you think about the Bulls winning three championships in a row"

Russell's answer: "Not much".

Russell was also 10-0 in game 7's. Not too shabby.

Plus, the Bulls won in a much-watered-down league.

Those Bulls teams would have been destroyed by the 60s Celtics, the 70s Knicks AND the 70s Lakers, the 80s Lakers, the 80s Celtics as well as the Shaq/Kobe Laker teams.
