I don't think so.Terrorism based on religion used to be a lot worse in the past(think of what was happening in Europe in Medeaval times). It's just that we feel more secure now from other things and that's why we think this kind of terrorism is increasing.

Good question!
I think as the world inevitably becomes more open, borders more porous, and cultures more intertwined, the natural effect will be a backlash on behalf of many groups that want to protect an established way of life or set of beliefs. I think we're seeing this not only in the form of terrorism with a claimed basis in religion, but also in the form of citizens acting to protect their jobs against illegal immigrants and outsourcing, cultural protectionism which manifests itself as bans or limits on the import of foreign movies, television shows, and publications; and many attempts by cuturally homogenous groups to succeed from a nation (Quebec, Kurdistan, Baque)

Terrorists stating that they committed violent acts in the name of religion is a huge pile of s**t. They do these things because they like the feeling of power over other people. Blaming religion is just a nice way of absolving themselves of blame.
Civilisation is eventually going to blow itself up (very civilised, eh?).
There will never be a way to end it. If religion did not exist they would blame something else like maybe they would only plane suicide bombers on days that it rained. then they could blame the weather. There will always be an excuse.

Terrorism will increase as full scale wars are simply not an option without starting a nuclear war.
I suggest more education to the children/adults of every nationality on accepting others of different faiths and races.

Moses' law was a "great terror"-ist to all: Dt 34:12
So perhaps law is at the bottom of the terror barrel.
And GWB's 'rule of law' going globe-all is Horeb-bull.

Of course it will, its PROVEN that we are now afraid of these animals so the violence will only get worse. PLUS we will see more and more religions "extremists" come out. This is ONLY the beginning, all this world had to do was STAND UP TO THESE MORONS. You people are on your own now...I will PERSONALLY SHOOT anyone even LOOKING at my property. Have a nice day. =)

Yes! Of course. Religion is the only thing that if you use it badly, then will make anyone blind to see the results and the way you are going to.
