And if he ignores you in front of his dad, he's probably just shy cause he doesnt want his dad to think anything ! In my opinion, i think you should text him more often and use some smileys and just come across as a good friend. Even though he's not really talkative with you right now, I think that by you taking the initiative to text him and act extra nice, he might come around. If he doesn't though , don't worry because many guys aren't very social. I have a thing with this guy, and I always have to be the conversation-starter. It's just the way he is. Thats a delimma. Im a mom and honestly, if a fifteen year old was remotely interested in my 12 year old, I would be concerned.

One thing you need to understand is, a boy at fifteen is more likely to push you into something you arent ready for. Being his friend is best for someone so young. Wait till you are at least fourteen to consider really having a bf and keep this one as a close friend and leave it that way.

I have a 12 year old daughter and have had to deal with older boys trying to push her to do things she isnt even ready for. Thankfully, she can come talk to me about things like that.

Try talking with your mom alone and see what she has to say. Explain to her whats going on.

Yes. you are right You are way too young to be spending the night at someone's house. Dating at your age should be your mom dropping you off to a movie with the boy and picking you up and taking you all out for ice cream. Being alone with a boy is too tempting.
