I've had a 74' XLCH (kick only), 51' Pan/Shovel (kick only) and my current is a 84' FLH Shovel (last year shovel) but no kicker, thank God! To old to kick, really just too lazy. I have to ease into the modern era. Ride safe and wave to every bike you pass don't be like the weekend "profiling/look at me" type bikers.

lots of people think that HDparts are made over sea's.

ALL HD bikes or 20% jap parts, 80% US made.

but most people that say that are usaly more talk than knowalage( you know, magazine bikers. everything thay know came from a magazine, not realy doing it.)

896 miles. prity impresive. next time try for the iron butt award. it 1000mils in 24hr's.

oop's almost forgot, 1978 FXE (runs about 900miles a weeK. i live 90miles from work).

good luck. and see you out there some where.

I ride american made bikes as well as rice burners. Have a harley and a custom bike I have built. Also have my origianl shadow which was the first brand new bike I ever bought (its a 1984). I prefer to ride the Harley for everyday use and the custom is for parades and such.

Not me... there's no good American sportbikes, and I like twisty's too much to ride choppers. I ride an '05 Kawasaki Ninja 500... great bike... it will out-handle pretty much anything out there (even if it's a lot slower on the straights than pretty much any sportbike 600cc or bigger)

Buell makes a decent bike, but I don't really think they can compare to Japanese engineering. (and ducati are way outta my price range for a big toy)

I have a 2000 victory v92SC. This bike will handle anything you throw at it. It will corner with the best of them. Best bike on market for the money. Plenty of power. Its a cruiser but will hang with just about any crochrocket out there. Try a victory you will love them.

well contrary to what some people think the company that starts with the letter H and D is not an american made bike. it is put together in pennsylvania with a boat load of imported parts. for comfort and reliability give me the honda goldwing. "made" in marysville ,ohio with a boat load of imported parts

Even if I could afford one I wouldnt buy one.Why would I want to buy something I cant ride as much cause its in the shop for repairs and maintenance which cost arm and leg?
