Does anybody know anything about OMC Cobra inboard/outboard motors?

I just recently purchased a boat with this type of motor. It is a 2.3 L and I was looking for any information I can. Please leave an email that you can be reached at. Thank you

You need to educate yourself... that drive has a couple of serious shortcomings. If the shift cables are not working perfectly the drive likes to jump out of gear under load which is a $2000+ repair when it happens....

    go here and start reading:

    www.hastings.org/~stuart/cobra/index.html

Your boat's engine is a 2.3 liter Ford - the block and head and internals are similar to 4 cylinder Mustangs of the era....everything else on the engine is marine specific.

Get a manual and learn how to winterize it properly and change points and fuel filters etc...
