Before I answer, (and I DO have a very good and technical answer ...) I feel it is my duty to CORRECT someones mistake (jetgirly, if anyone cares to know to whom I am referring ...) That person's PC is probably crawling with viruses and Ad-Ware, since they know SO MUCH about computers that they are sure that no one can trace them.

Ahem, YES there ARE SEVERAL ways that e-mail activity, or computer activity of ANY KIND can be traced / monitored. Anyone ever heard of an IP Address. IP as in Internet Protocol? Its a unique address that is used to identify one computer to another. All a person or entity (business or otherwise) has to do is scan for your IP address, obtain it, and monitor your every move, undetetced ..

Also, have you ever noticed that somewhere near the 'To:' field in your e-mail compose screen are 2 more options, CC and BCC?

CC means Carbon Copy -- It sends an EXACT COPY of the

e-mail that you forward / send to that address to which it is to be copied.

BCC means Blind Carbon Copy -- It sends an EXACT COPY of the e-mail that you forward / send to that address to which it is to be copied, only this time you CAN NOT SEE that address in the list of recipients.

'Its ok there is no way that can be done ...'

'But ... but ... they have to type an e-mail into that BOX, its NOT POSSIBLE ...'

Yeah, right ... All a person has to do is write some code for an e-mail worm that will 'embed itself into the system and 'inseert' the address into the e-mail manually (not in the usual way, in an ENCRYPTED way that you CAN NOT SEE ...'

But of course, that ISN'T POSSIBLE, now IS IT ... ??

Apologies, it just really ticks me off when people state things as FACT when they DO NOT have the technical expertise required to ahve even the foggiest idea what in the world that they are talking about ...

Sorry to burst your bubble, lady, but you were flat out wrong ...

Now that my PC Tech lesson for the day is over, it is time for my answer. Gather around Ladies and Germs ...

The truth is, I do not know if ANY of these e-mails are legit. Howeever, I am nearly 99.99% certain that this is a scam. You CANNOT GUARANTEE that kind of projected profit margin ...

There are 8 billion people on this planet. Suppose only 1% forwarded this e-mail to just one person.

That is $0.11 x 80,000,000 or $8,800,000. It costs money for people to send these message, basically, even if it is fractions of a penny per use. And yet, somehow, someway, 'poor lil' Timmy on the other end is now a millionaire b/c of our e-mails? What if all 8 billion people sent it to just 10 people? That means that the family would get :

    8,000,000,000 x 10 x $0.11 = $8,800,000,000

So if everyone in the world send it to atleast 10 people, this supposed family is now millionaires when they were starving to death 48 hours ago? You would have to be

TRULY GULLIBLE to fall for that one ...

The person that suggested a spamlist is being built is totally correct, whether it is being done for 'good' purposes or not. Spam bots scour websites for e-mail addresses, whether they truly exist or not. If I type in someemail@someisp.com I am quite sure that within 20 minutes corporations from all over will be sending e-mails to that address, even if it is fake, because corporate software designers are just that stoopid. That is why I always state my e-mail address as digitalmythology at yahoo.com. I use 'at' instead of '@', that way spam bots won't pick up my 'incorrect format' and send me all this mess, like this thing that our friend the 'questioner' is asking us about today ...

Reminds me of the time I had an 'Ad-Bar' that offered to sell me EVERYTHING that I typed into a search box. I was trying to look up symptoms of some type of sickness that I had at one time, and so I typed in 'Watery Diahrrea' The first two lines were 'Now, buy watery diarreah at ebay.com' I could design better code than that in my sleep!

There are SOME legitamate companies that wil APY you to send e-mails, obviously I am telling the truth, one of my fello 'Answerers' mentioned that he had a job where he sends out e-mails all day. I knew that, his story just backed me up even more ... :D Thanks ...

Anyway, these particular ones are scams in my book. Also anything having to do with 'I am poor little Nigerian Prince. Want to use your American bank account to send funds and give you half of it so you can be rich. just give me all your personal account nformation and my lawyers will take care of it ..." Go ahead, be that gullible. You'll be broke within 4 days, if you are even that lucky.

In other words, watch your back on these things and for ALL OF you, DO NOT ASSUME that something cannot be done, unless you are in the technical field and/or have personal knowledge enough to KNOW for certain that it can or can not be done.

Besides, although some may defend this as 'MLM' or 'Multi-Level Marketing' its more like a pyramid scheme only it doesn't work exponentially as it would in a pyramid fashion.

The income is on a single-plane format, since the bots do all the work.

In short, I do not forsee you getting paid ANYTHING ...

It is probably some lame attempt to pass along a worm, trojan, or virri ...

Thank you, I hope this helps.

Total scam. You will never get money from Bill Gates, free blue jeans, or a gift certificate to your favorite restaurant. When I get garbage like that I forward it to the sender however many times they said I should forward it to someone else. Muahahahahahaaaa

All emails that mention anything about money (other than "where's that 5 bucks you owe me?") are scams.
