If humans evolved from monkeys, what did monkeys evolve from? And what did that creature evolve from?

In the theory of evolution, we evolved from monkeys. Well, what was the first creature and how was it formed? Where did it come from? How do you explain all the different creatures on Earth if we all evolved from one? I believe in creation personally.

We did not evolve from monkeys although they are primates like us. We evolved from apes. You describe evolution as a simple linear progression from A to B to C. This is not the case. some evolutionary branches come to a dead end or result in a different evolutionary path, this leads to a different creature. It is far too complicated to answer your question properly here, you need to do some research re: natural selection and Darwin's Origin of Species. Evolution and creationism do not have to be in conflict, you need to study this a lot more. Jules. Australia.

In biology, the theory of universal common descent proposes that all organisms on Earth are descended from a common ancestor or ancestral gene pool.

Evidence for common descent may be found in traits shared between all living organisms. In Darwin's day, the evidence of shared traits was based solely on visible observation of morphologic similarities, such as the fact that all birds—even those which do not fly—have wings. Today, there is strong evidence from genetics that all organisms have a common ancestor. For example, every living cell makes use of nucleic acids as its genetic material, and uses the same twenty amino acids as the building blocks for proteins. All organisms use the same genetic code (with some extremely rare and minor deviations) to translate nucleic acid sequences into proteins. The universality of these traits strongly suggests common ancestry, because the selection of many of these traits seems arbitrary.

Information about the early development of life includes input from the fields of geology and planetary science. These sciences provide information about the history of the Earth and the changes produced by life. However, a great deal of information about the early Earth has been destroyed by geological processes over the course of time.

Darwin didn’t say we evolved from apes! It says man and all other primates evolved from a common ancestor. No monkeys.

NOT 2 GO AGAINST U BUT WE DIDNT COME FROM MONKEYS, THAT IS JUST DARWIN'S THEORY AND IT WIL B A THEORY. MANY PPLE DO BLIEVE THAT, WHOEVER DOES BLIEVE THAT THEN THEY R DUMB ND NEED LIFE

it is believed that all animals have a common ancestor. so that means all animals now came from basicall the same animal millions of years ago.
