Ford cobra-jet heads take special headers??
I have a set of Aluminum Ford Racing Cobra-jet heads on a stroked (557 inch) big block. Will regular 460 headers bolt up or do I need special headers for these heads?

Call up summit racing. They'd be able to help you right over the phone and may have the proper part in stock. I didn't think there was a difference in the exhaust ports between differnet types of heads...well that much I mean. It could just be a matter of having a flange welded on.

You should also try hitting the autoparts stores, and looking for all of their Ford and Mustang magazines. I'd imagine that their operations are a lot smaller than Summit's, so you may be able to find a quicker answer with a quick phone call or email.
Search them out on the internet too. Call up a couple of shops, maybe some racing shops and you'll probably get the quickest and most correct answer that way.
