I really don't know what type of harware you are trying to configure. however, you can call linksys during any hour and they will help you solve your issue.
their telephone number is: (800) 326-7114, and their web sit is linksys.com. Once you are in the main page, you can locate the hyperlink that will lead you to the support page.

by default linksys routers with wireless connections are wireless enabled.
Off the shelf any wireless router will work completely just by pluggin in the approprate cables. they provide a installation cd, so the typical home user can take advantage of extended services provided by the router. IE. mac filters, port forwarding, QOS, port triggering, WEP, and WPA. If you are not able to see the wireless network when you plug in then try pressing the reset button for 10 seconds on the back. and try again. by default the SID for a linksys is linksys. if this still doesnt work either something is wrong with the router or something is wrong with the computer that is tryin to find the router. from thier you will have to start troubleshootin, if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

well at first make sure your router is wireless..
coz i don't think there much setting up to do if you plug it in properlly.. but if you do have some problems you can always change update the settings typing this address in your internet browser "http://192.168.1.1/
