It could be a number of things driving your poor girl to scratch. I would suggest taking her to a vet to get checked for rashes, mites, flea secretions/eggs [if she doesn't have fleas] and or skin allergies.

There are many reasons for this. Diet, allergies, Dry skin. My dog has many allergies. Vet put him on lamb n rice dog food. Bathe him in oatmeal soap. and prescribed benadryl for itching. ask a vet before u give benadryl!! some dogs that young cant take it.

well it could be echema but if the hair starts to fall out it could be called hot spots or it could be this time of year they start to shed so they are scratching the old hair out.

IS SHE LICKING HER FEET TOO? SHE COULD HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO HER FOOD. IS SHE LOSING HAIR? MAYBE SHE HAS MITES. IS HER SKIN FLAKY? MAYBE IT JUST DRY SKIN. TRY TO CHANGE SHAMPOOS. THE BEST BET IS TAKING HER TO THE VET AND GET HER TESTED.
