I had one, he was great. Be careful, though, Boxer's have very sensitive stomachs, you would want to feed them good food, not CHEAP food, some expensive food it crappy too! I fed mine NutraNuggets & occasionally BilJac. (He loved BillJac) Because of the sensitive stomachs, they get really bad gas, more so than a normal dog, and bad diarrhea. Feed them well! Other than that, very active & playful, great with kids! And very smart!

tbh you shouldn't breed at all!!! Too many dogs in the world. Boxers are pretty cool though. Be sure you find good homes for all of the puppies BEFORE they are born. Get all the shots. Its pretty pricy.
But seriously...if you are getting a dog next week then you should wait a year just so you know that you like the breed enough to put up with at least 4 new members. Breeding on impulse is very irresponsible

Good breed. Not usually aggressive if they come from a reputable breeder, good with kids, high energy, highly trainable but will train the owner if the owner doesn't stick to their guns (they will act like you are hurting them but you are not unless you beat the dog). They do want to be with their people all the time so if you aren't willing to spend alot of time with the dog, don't get a boxer. I do suggest finding a breeder who does health testing. Puppies cost more but it is worth it not to go through losing your dog at a young age from something that could have been prevented.

When I was 7, (many many years ago) I was playing in the backyard with a friend and my Uncles Boxer bit this girls toe off. Not sure what the problem with that dog was but I am sure most boxers are friendly. I hope!
Sorry for the negativity but you asked.

well i think you have chose a very nice breed of dog to get they require alot of attention and they listen very well and they are especially good with children im not very old but anyway i have a grandaughter that is getting ready to turn 2 and my white boxer will let her climb all over her and ride her around in the livingroom and she lets my grandaughter get in her food bowl and everything so you made a very good decision on picking the boxer breed for an addition to your family goodluck with it and i added a link for you to check out it is all about boxers and again good luck

We had a boxer and a lab growing up. That's what we have today with our five children. Great family dogs & they always let you know if someone is there, but don't bark incessantly. Incredibly smart. Good luck, I hope you have a wonderful new friend.

One of the best breeds. High energy! Thier Butts NEVER stop moving...and they play like a "boxer" They use thier front paws alot :) Get a good trainer, start young. Youll be very happy!

They are very active animals and need alot of attention. If you are not willing to put the time and effort you will end up with a unhappy boxer. My Neice has one and they did not put enough time into raising him. He jumps up on people and you can not stop him when he gets into a mood he will box you and jump up on you.

They are kind of funny looking, they look stupid but aren't always, some are really hyper. I have a pitbull/boxer mix and he none of those. So depends on the dog. Yeah he also snores alot. lmbo

Brindle boxers are cuter; they have the marble-like markings whereas fawn boxers are only brown. They are beautiful, my sister has one and he is very loyal, and he thinks he is a lap dog!
